With her marketing and graphic design background, Karishma started to think about a special gift for her fiancé and decided to make it herself. As she discovered that she really enjoys the process of making, she decided to make it a living. In 2016, she creates a small studio to store all her creation, and gets it at Maker’s Asylum.
How does she interact with the workshop?
Karishma uses the wood lab, and with the help of the lab leads she works on several projects. She recently learned to work with the electronic lab for its last creation: enlightened frames.
What’s next?
She is looking to expand and take a bigger space to broaden her collection, create a showroom and hire a team!
