Toga FabLab (Project)

Mid of 2024, the third place of Bastia will welcome in its newly refurbished premises on the port of Toga various players in the economic development of the Bastia region: creators and project leaders, young entrepreneurs, associations and institutional partners. The FabLab will offer several spaces dedicated digital manufacturing and innovation.

Avvià aims to support project leaders and business creators, a network of partners facilitating the integration of developing entrepreneurs into the Bastia economic fabric. Just as many profiles are encouraged to invest in the third place of Toga: “The idea is to create synergy so that these places are a catalyst”

(Launched in 2021, Avvià, which means “to set in motion”, “to begin” in the Corsican language)

We don’t have a community yet, since we will open in mid-2024.

But then everyone is welcomed however we mostly focus on : - The creators & project leaders; - Young businesses; - Developing businesses.

This project of FabLab is fully supported by public funding. Although supported by the Bastia Urban Community, the AVVIÀ offer is characterized by a close partnership between the different entrepreneurship players in the region.

Today the AVVIÀ ecosystem is made up of 8 partner structures:

The Corsican Chamber of Commerce and Industry;
The Corsican Chamber of Trades and Crafts;
The Inizià innovation incubator;
The management shop;
The A Prova activity and employment cooperative;
The youth initiative cooperative;
Corsica active for the initiative;
The ADIE regional network.
