Our workshop

Learn more about our space, members, machines & services!

Old farm closed in 1995 and bought by the town hall in 2011, the project, originally supported by an association, was developed by the community and was structured in several stages: - Allow people to feel belonging again to the place in 2011 - A lot of works to rehabilitate the place in 2015 - Extension of the place as part of its development in 2017

Basically, no collaborative approach in line with the community but a steering committee made up of elected officials from the municipality, the department, the region, companies and a few inhabitants was created for the occasion. Since then, the project has made great efforts to include the different actors of the territory (residents, businesses, craftsmen, etc.) in a proactive community.

As part of its operation and development, the Fruitière Numérique organizes various events: - a local market, from April to October, every Tuesday - artistic residencies that can give rise to partnerships such as outings from residencies or the co-creation or production of events (festivals, fairs, etc.)

Its development has revitalized the village.

Future projects are mainly focused on the redevelopment of outdoor spaces but above all the desire to further involve the associations of the village as well as the people who live in the place, like a shell that is filled with proposals and needs, in order to stimulate all the living forces.

La Fruitière Numérique is well organised thanks to the work of 4 employees and from time to time some student in placement.

Mostly local people from the village come to use the space but it’s not rare to meet national or international artists or remote worker coming for some weeks to work.

SPL (Local Public Company) which has a public service delegation allowing it to provide free services such as digital support, the organization of a farmers’ market, workshops…

The wish is now to move towards a format of Cooperative Society of Collective Interest in order to be able to further develop cultural projects.
