Every year, our Fablab is looking for international Makers. Come from abroad and make a change with our local makers’ community

👩🏻‍🔧 TYPE OF ACTIVITIES: Assisting our Fab manager in his weekly missions
⏳ PERIOD: 11 months
🗓️ DATES: Septembre 2024 to July 2025 (including a winter holiday break)
🚂TRANSPORT: Reimbursed
🏡 ACCOMMODATION: Included (guest house with other international residents)

The Federation of Youth and Culture Houses of Aube county (FDMJC de l’Aube) is a Popular Education association that works for the individual and collective emancipation of all.

In 2020, they launched a Fablab in cooperation with the “Communauté de communes du Barséquanais en champagne” for the location of the space.

The main purposes and vision of the Fablab are:

  1. Education popularisation
  2. Technical popularisation
  3. Pushing innovation by prototyping
  4. Territorial vitalisation
  5. Promote alternative use of the digital media

The aim of the Lab is to push knowledge and skill transfer, and inter-generational exchange between makers.

Our community is made of many members with different interests and professional backgrounds(artists, engineers, teachers, NGOs, young makers, seniors, craftsmen…).

To help the community development, we have a small, but fun and efficient team:

  • Adel BOUGHANMI: Fab manager
  • Blandine MARCHAND: Direction assistant of FDMJC of Aube department
  • Michaël BOUILLON: Director of the FDMJC of Aube department

And help by 2 Volunteers through the french “Volunteers services”
